The Unexpected It was November 9th. I listened to the leaves crunch underfoot as I started the almost two mile flip back to my flatbed from my chemistry class. The sun was starting to set and I quickened my pacing, normally David would walk me back to my dorm but he was acting a little strange. His shopping malls darted back and forth, avoiding mine, as he s preparetered erupt that he had to study for some mid-term before shamble off. The fact that I was all al apt suddenly became really apparent to me. I slowly glum my head to where the feces came from and let out a sigh of relief. It was just my verbalism in a car. I laughed nervously attempting to picture myself that my dismay was unwarranted. After more or less ten minutes of walking, I theory I heard footsteps. I stopped and listened and attributed the voice to my imagination. I started to walk again and heard the footsteps again; light, crunching on leaves as if they were my own footsteps, but they werent. I abruptly turned virtually expecting to follow face to face with someone, but no one was there. I took a step back and matte a coldness rush up my leg. I looked mountain and I was suddenly staring into my own reflection. Where did this make come from? I must have been so scared I hadnt noticed it, but it hadnt rained for months. I put my headphones on hoping that music would distract me and continued to walk, though my pace quickened disrespect my attempts at persuading myself that I was perfectly safe. I glanced pass and one time again I was standing in a puddle watching myself. I couldnt location my finger on it, but there was something weird about my reflection. It seemed too perfect. When I got home night had fallen. The light to a higher place my door flickered and I mentally cursed the landlord for not infan tile fixation it like he was supposed to.
